Tachyonics

Tachyonics is a technology-centered and future-oriented company with a mass production technology of SiGe HBT (Silicon Germanium Hetero-junction Bipolar Transistor) and with its specialized core capacity to design and manufacture RF semiconductors.

SiGe HBT is made by growing an epitaxial layer of germanium-doped silicon on the silicon substrate. This results in a bandgap reduction, giving rise to a dramatic performance improvement. SiGe is a new technology that combines the integration and cost benefits of silicon with the speed of difficult and expensive technologies such as gallium-arsenide.
